Sourcing:
A large number of our raw materials are locally sourced, natural, and cruelty-free from Ceylon. All third parties from which we buy our raw materials are certified cruelty-free. We are also looking at transitioning to vegan materials. While beeswax and bees honey are valuable components of Ayurveda and are here to stay- we source them from the natural origin without damaging the valuable ecosystems that they help thrive.
Our products:
While our products may not be vegan, due to the usage of beeswax and bee honey being integral components in Ayurveda, we are looking to formulate products that are better suited to the vegan diet. We are currently looking to make some (though not all) existing products vegan while formulating new vegan recipes without compromising the quality of our products.
Packaging:
While some of our products use plastic, we are looking forward to actively transitioning into more sustainable plastics, which we can recycle better. PET and PCR plastics are at the top of our agenda for 2022, while we are transitioning many suitable products to glass and metal packaging which can easily be upcycled.
